AUTHOR UPDATE

IT was one year ago today that the Author was diagnosed with an aortic anuerysm. This anuerysm was in an advanced stage. The doctors said that it had a 50% chance of rupturing in six months. And aortic anuerysms are usually fatal.

One week later, on May 31st, the Author underwent open-heart surgery for repair fo the aortic anuerysm and replacement of a defective aortic heart valve.

The Author recovered relatively quickly, and within six weeks of the surgery, he had recovered. Physically, that is.

The mental implications of the surgery, and the relative "good luck" of the timing of the diagnosis, are just begining to be assimilated. And considered within a ontological context, or any context, aside from blind coincidence.

THINKING BUT NOT ASSIMILATING IN THE DESERT OF THE REAL!
