BOUND FOR GLORY-AMERICA IN COLOR 1939-1943



The Author came across a collection of color photographs (prints from slides)that comprise an online exhibit from the Library of Congress. They are interesting and evocative. And unique, because so much of the recorded history from this time period is in black and white.

The photo above could grace a cover of "Huck Finn". This photo was taken in Louisianna in June 1940.
