THE AUTHOR SAW A UFO

At approximately 9:55 am MDT on Friday August 25th, the Author saw a UFO. Seriously. It was incredible.

The Author and his wife were driving north on Tramway in Albuquerque. The sky was sunny, visibility was good, and there were few if any clouds extant. The Author first noticed a large white object flying west of the Sandia mountains. Because the object appeared large, the Author believed it was relatively close, within a mile or two. (The Sandia peaks are several miles away). At first, the Author thought it may be a hang glider, because aircraft (except for helicopters) do not fly close to the peaks. But hang gliders sometimes launch from the peaks and glide around.

The item did not look like a hang glider, however. It was white and appeared long, thin and somewhat rectangular. It was silent and had no contrails.

The object then passed over and behind the Sandia peaks. In less than a second. It was only a few hundred feet over the peaks, which are between 9 and 10 thousand feet high. This confirmed that the object could not be a hang glider or a conventional aircraft. Based upon its location above the Sandia peaks, it must have been several hundred feet long. And its rate of speed was very high to pass over and behind the peaks in less than a second.

The Author’s wife also saw the object and agrees with this assessment.

The Author has no opinion on the origin of the object. However, as stated above, it did not appear to be a conventional aircraft.

NOT YOUR ORDINARY DAY IN THE DESERT OF THE REAL!
