SECOND QUARTER 2007 EXCHANGE-TRADED FUNDS (ETF) RESULTS
The three charts sbove, reproduced from Dorsey Wright & Associates, set out the returns from the Second Quarter of 2007 for various ETFs.
Three broad categories of ETFs are set out; Broad Asset Class Funds, Foreign Funds, and Sector Based Funds.
As you can see, the best returning funds were foreign index funds, led by Chinese and some other emerging markets. In the sector category of funds, oil and oil services led.
Some analysts believe that foreign ETFs are peaking, but the Author will remain heavily invested in foreign ETFs until the indicators turn negative.
