UPDATE FROM THE AUTHOR

Things are in a very transitional mode right now. The Author will be moving back to the Midwest. No job prospects, few meaningful opportunities. And because of the limp real estate market, less cash than he had hoped for.

These times probably happen to many people at various times. There is a certain perverse freedom in being continually uprooted and re-diasporized. You have less to lose, you are less invested. Keeping up the emotional side is sometimes difficult.

The Author has often noted that the Desert of the Real is YOYOMF zone. More so now than ever.

But the Author has been in the corner before. You keep your hands up, your body covered, and you punch your way out.
