HEY KIDS, LET’S CREATE A VALUE NETWORK. AND KEEP YOUR SACCHARINE AND SMARMY COMMENTS TO YOURSELF.

Things have been positive, or at least slightly positive trending at the Desert of the Real Economics Analysis website over the last few months.

We get hits from all over the world, and from such prestigious places as The World Bank, Harvard Business School, and ligtel.com. The Author is humbled and obsequiously challenged by such attention. (The Author threw “obsequiously” in there just to see if the spellchecker could catch it.)

The Author would like to broaden his readership to people of the same (or hopefully far better) caliber as the current readers. To that end, and to promote a novel that has to date languished in publisher’s “slush piles” everywhere, the Author has a proposition. A proposition just in time for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and assorted other Solstice and Harvest Festivals.

Here is the deal:

1. If you can provide the author with the email addresses of three people that would gain benefit from updates from the Desert of the Real, he will send you in zip. format a copy of the Author’s novel, “Bright Days Fading into a Mere Pall Across the Landscape.”

2. Alternatively, if you value the integrity of the personal information of your friends and colleagues, but still wish a copy of “Bright Days Fading into a Mere Pall Across the Landscape”, simply make (or confirm) a ten-dollar donation to a charity of your choice.

Let us hear from you. If you plead poverty and instead wish to watch the movie “Borat” with the Author, separate arrangements may be made.

REMEMBER, THAT WHICH YOU DO FOR THE LEAST OF YOU WILL AT BEST ASSUAGE A REMORSEFUL CONSCIENCE IN THE DESERT OF THE REAL!
